Instruments 2008

My wife and I purchased a used 2008 with a Mercedes engine, I don't find anything on the instruments in any of our manuals or on line is there somewhere that describes all the gages and the warning sounds.
We are from near Grand Junction Colorado and plan on spending six months in our unit starting in late March through October. This is our 5th Motor Home but first pusher. Glad to be part of your forum. Randy/Pam

The only other person I know with an 08 with a Mercedes engine is Ernest917. You might want to send him a PM and ask away.

Google the following. Frightliner insturment cluster manual and you'll find a frghtliner recreational manual that covers the light, guages and warning sounds. Frigtliner provides the instruments for the coach. Welcome from CO also. If you can't find it let me know.

And just so you know..... you do not have to deal with DEF (diesel emission fluid). You may or may not have a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). If you do, you will become familiar with the term "regen" which is short for Regeneration. If not you will motor in happy ignorant bliss and get an extra MPG or two......

(These two items are emission related.....)

I just spent quite awhile with him on the phone, Great guy! He answered a number of questions for me. Thanks all for your help. The gage which I had in question was for the turbo. Randy
