Inverter on 390bh

I have gone through stacks of paperwork and found nothing on my inverter. I have a 2010 Berkshire bunkhouse and I neither know what I have or where to find it. I looked in most of the compartments for a box marked Xantrax, and have found none. There is a box in the compartment next to the batteries. Any ideas where I can find this info?

Are you looking for an inverter? A device to convert DC to AC or are you looking for a rectifier? The device to convert AC to DC. If it is the rectifier, plug in to a power supply and follow the buzzing sound.

I was told that I had a 2000-3000 watt inverter when I bought the coach. When on battery power I do have access to television and electrical outlets. I am learning the systems and can't find the supporting literature in my package. I'll try plugging in and listening. Thanks

I have a 2011 BH and the inverter is located in the compartment on the drivers side behind the battery compartment. It is the unit with all of the cables coming off of it (doing this from memory as my unit is in storage). Others may be of exact help. Also on the control panel on the inside, there is a "button" that you need to have pushed to turn the inverter on. Also, if I remember correctly, you can not have the generator on, when hooked to shore power, because it's will blow up the inverter - I have a post a note with this caution on the unit.

Unless they changed things between 2008 and 2010, your inverter should be in the compartment last compartment in the rear on the passenger side next to the batteries. I have a Magnum in mine and as I said, unless they changed to a different manufacturer, I would think that yours is the same. Mine is a 2000w and yours is probably the same.

I found it! I assumed it would be Xantrex. My paperwork doesn't indicate whether it is an inverter or a dual function inverter/converter. Where does it say 2000watts on your unit? Thanks

It don't think it says it anywhere on the unit itself. I looked up the model number of mine on the manufacturers website. I knew mine had a 2000w inverter but I looked it up anyway just to check.

I spoke with the Magnum rep today and he said the model number is on the side opposite the cables. I tried to get in there but didn't remove the protective screen. I may head over tomorrow to get a closer look. Thanks

Follow-up. I have a Magnum MM-1212. 1200 watt continuous modified sine inverter/converter. I learn a little more each day. Now if I can understand my in-motion satellite system.
