Loose nut behind the wheel

Ok, behind the dryer.
Anyone else have this happen? Can I pop the top off the dryer to retrieve the nut?

That happened to me. I went to the hw store and replaced instead of trying to dig it out. I jammed into the space between the dryer and the wall some pool noodles and it helped with the unbalanced spin dry feature.

I thought you were talking about the person in the driver's seat!

We did the same with pool noodles. It didn’t completely eliminate the rocking but did help considerably.

This happened to me as well when I had to pull the washer and dryer out to have the washer serviced (long story, but somewhere on here you'll find a post from me about the "demo mode" on the washer and how to turn it off). If I remember right, I removed the screws along the bottom edge of each side and the back and removed the top and side panels in one piece. I was able to retrieve the toggle bolt that way.

If you don't have the dryer pulled out of the cabinet, it isn't worth removing it to get the bolt out. Just buy another one to replace it.

Does the top pop up? If so I’ll jus put a washer and nut behind the hole. I have the knob and bolt piece.
Thanks
Tim

It might not be a bolt, as you suggest.
We had a similar problem - ours was fastened by sheetmetal screws with the white button caps.
I don't think the top can lift up.
