The plastic latches on my mirrored sliding closet doors keep breaking and I keep replacing them. Does any one have a substitution for the plastic latches? This is the second RV with these cheap latches that crack and break.
No idea about alternatives, but are the catches too tight? Meaning- are they taking a more than normal beating from you opening/closing the door?
And, if so- can you adjust them so that they're looser?

Same problem here. DW kept breaking them and I replaced a few at an expensive price per each from a local dealer. Finally I contacted Andy in the parts dept at FR to order something else unrelated and he sold me a box of 6 of them for very little cost each. Now this season I am well stocked to easily replace the cheap things but of course haven't broken one since!
There was a guy on the Crossroads forum (Dayle1) who makes a magnetic latch to replace to plastic ones; nothing to break. You may want to check in with him and see if he has any available.
