Missing the Berk!

So I recently took her down to the dealer in Canyon City for some warranty work which is about a 2-hour drive from Denver. I had a list of stuff to fix - nothing huge but a few little things. We have had some nice weather lately and we want to go camping but we don't have our coach...I realize it's winter and a good time to fix stuff but I miss the Berk!

I know the pain. We had to take ours into storage a few weeks ago. Kids didn't have any time off and our weather here is so iffy this time of the year that we had to get the rig winterized and so it will stay until April. Sad day when we can't use the beast for close to six months.

Not to rub it in, but we de-winterized ours and headed out last Friday for an 8-day trip. . It'll be our last of the season.

Now I'm hoping that the weather will be decent enough to permit our return to Colorado and re-winterization next weekend...???

Not a Class A owner (yet), but I feel your pain. We are so looking forward to next season!

Winterized and covered my Berk in mid-October. We will only have to wait until mid-Februrary when we head to Florida and Disney with the children and grand kids. Counting the days!!

Living in Colorado we have limited camping time. However I now know the winterization process and when I get get her back from the shop we will probably do a winter camping trip here and there. I'll not use the ice maker or the washer/dryer which should make winterizing quicker. Heck, maybe head to Aspen for a long skiing weekend camping trip!
