Molding Removal for Cable Adjustment

Does anyone here know any "secrets" to removing the molding above the kitchen sink/stove so as to access the cable adjuster?

I have to adjust them on our Berk 400QL, but it's a long piece of wood with no noticeable location(s) to pry it off. I just know someone here has done it and figured out a way to do it with out tugging and chancing that the board breaks.

Thanks,
Ken

I am 90% sure that it is stapled in with long thin staples or similar. They have been for every other RV I've owned.

I would use a stiff putty knife/flat bar to slowly work it off. I would then cut off the staples and afterwards reinstall it with an antique replica lag bolt or something similar.....

Please wait for verification before you take my word for it.
