need help with a slide

I have a 2016 Berkshire that I am having with the kitchen slide. After pulling the kitchen slide in and it sits for a while the bottom of the slide will creep out this is before I even move the coach.

There no visable fluid leaking the hydraulic reserve is full.

Has anyone experienced this?

If it is hydraulically driven it is one 2 things. Either the anti-creep valve is bad or the hydraulic cylinder is getting blow by causing it to creep out.

The same thing happened to me.

It started out with creep and then finally got to the point that it would not close.

The ram needed to be replaced. Happened the night before a big trip. Was told by local FR dealer that the part was about 1000 dollars and would have to be ordered in ... which would take several days.

There said that the ram was proprietary and I would.not be able to buy any kind of stock ram

Was lucky enough to find a local hydrolics specialist that does road call. He built me a ram from scratch a a fraction of the cost. No problem since.

We had the same problem, When driving we had to pull over every few minutes to bring the slide back in. When parked After 30 minutes the slide Would-be out from a couple inches to a foot . We took it back-to the dealer. They replaced the anti creep valve and the problem was solved . It took 2 months .

Thank you everyone for your help. I spoke with Randy at Equalizer as well as Mitch with Forest River and they thought it might be the hydraulic cylinder so they are sending free of charge. Hope this does the trick.

Have you used your slide-locks to hold it in place?
GOOD LUCK

And not all 2016 Berkshires have the slide locks. Let us know if the cylinder does the trick, please?

Forest River paid for the installation under warranty and Equalizer had a two year warranty cylinder. I had to pay nothing. Which is great!!!!

Hydraulic pump

We have a total different situation. We have a 2013 Birkshire 390RB that we bought new. We have had no issues until now. Now just to vent...but hey stuff breaks. We are in our two month trip. We left Arizona for the Pacific Northwest and made our third stop for the night at the Rolling Hills Casino in Corning Ca, which has a very nice RV park. We planned on being here two days.....well plans change when stuff breaks. Put the Jack's down. They stopped after contact with the ground. Tried to level out a little more manually...not happening. Tried to put out two front slides nothing moved...oh crap! Two bedroom slides came out but if course they are electric so no fluid running through them.
Read the troubleshooting section fors Equalizers System. Causes, low voltage, that tested at 12.5, good there, fluid level full...ummm. I checked all fuses not there...maybe the sylliniod. I bypassed the sylliniod...nothing now it is uh ****!!! One of those problems is a bad hydraulic pump!
I was able to locate a company, at 4:45pm called Firecreek RV repair in Corning and I was told that he would be out to check on it in two hours. He showed up at 7:00 as promised. Checked all the same stuff...bad pump.
I do not carry a drill that turns a fast 2000 rpms so I can not manually raise or lower the Jack's. So he agreed to come back on Sunday and raise them for us. He did not any want any money for coming out.
Make a long story shorter. Trying to find a reputable RV service repair that is not busy until August is very difficult. After calling several dealers in Washington state and being told that the pump would take 7-10 days to get there after they checked it out! So I recalled Firecreek and Chris told me he would do the work and would order the pump.
On Monday he called and said the pump would hopefully arrive by Friday and a four hour job to install.
When we purchased the motorhome we purchased an extended warranty from Cornerstone. Good thing! They are covering all the costs minus our $200 deductible...so that's good.
So if shits gonna break away from home the best you can hope for it broke and no one got injured, you are stuck in a nice place with senior buffet days on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Well the bad thing is the casino is not paying out!!
So I would recommend Firecreek RV in Corning if you need the help.
