For those of you having wear issues just purchase a short length of rubber hose that will slip over the valve stem,

Slip it on as far as it will go, mark it so you can cut it off so the threads are showing and put the cap back on.

The rubber hose would act to prevent wear on the valve stem, and nobody would notice that piece of rubber but you.........easy fix for those Freightliner inserts that slip off and do nothing then.

Same problem here on a 2020 Berk. I discovered that the extensions were worn through when attempting to install a TPMS. Both rubber isolators had become detached from the wheel.

I ended up removing the extensions and screwing the TPMS directly to the inside tire. It's possible to fill it up the inside tire without the extension with a 6" air nozzle, but not ideal.

Rick bought it from Amazon. Had to do some slight modification on the mounts. Instead of mounting to the lugs he mounted it to the center hub cover.

I got mine when I brought our rig into freightliner for our annual service. Just tell them you need them before your appointment so they can order them.
