So how do you tow that? Diff in neutral as well as gearshift?
I'd really like to tow my 2002 Sequoia but I've heard you can't flat tow. I use a dolly to tow our Acura TL.
Looks cool BTW!

Thank you.
The new F150's are designed to be flat towed behind recreational vehicles. The dial selector that you use for 2WD, 4WD also permits you to select the option to flat tow. Quick set up with no speed / mileage limitations while towing.

Great looking toad, Earl. My son has an F-150 that is very close to yours in looks. That one is a beauty!

Earl,
Very nice set up. Have you towed it any distance as yet and if so, did you check your mileage while towing?
Thanks,
Tom

Today will be the first time towing it. I used to tow a CRV that weighed in at 3500 pounds and would average 10.2 while average highway speed was 75mph.

Same for the Ford Fiesta. Automatic; just pop in in neutral, disconnect the battery and go. And averages 42 MPG all around driving. Ford does specify no towing over 70 MPH on the Fiesta.
I think the bat may need to be disconnected because the power steering is electric. I put an old fashioned knife switch on the battery.
Boowho??

i've been looking at the ford f150's as well and did some research on flat towing. only the 2012 and newer 4x4's can be flat towed. you have a key and selector knob switch sequence to put it in flat tow mode.
the 4x2 still cannot be flat towed (any year if factory stock)
ford does have a neutral tow kit but we are talking several thousand dollars to install and much more work... just much easier to get the 4x4 and have it factory built in ready.
