NJ camping- best places

Ok 99% of the time when I go camping I leave NJ. Its usually my vacation. But now that I have a new RV I would like to get in some weekend trips.

So I'm looking for some suggestions in NJ, eastern PA.

what I'm looking for:
Clean- with nice size site.
NOT a party camp- someplace that's quite after 10 or 11 pm.
Not full of full timers
Price is not an issue- you get what you pay for.

So let me know you go to spot.

We really enjoy Pleasant Acres up near High Point. You hardly know you are in NJ. A bonus is that they provide breakfast on various days of the week, generally french toast or pancakes plus sides. It is a very good breakfast.

Big Timber RV Park in Cape May County is one of the nicest near the seashore resorts of Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, and Wildwood. Very family oriented.

dave-

Be sure to bring extra freshwater hose. Some of the sites at Turkey Swamp have the water and electric at either end of the site... They are all sort of pull through sites... we have camped there and needed 50' of freshwater along 50' of power cord to get hooked up... depending where your water inlet and power cord are...

Some sites will require you to travel the "wrong way" on a one way loop road to get in...

But it is still one of our favorites.

I've had nice stays @ Beachcomber in Cape May. For P.A. anytime I go to Knoebels we stay a mile up the road @ J & D's in Catawissa. If you go to J&Ds make sure you cross the street for some ice cream.

This past weekend we stayed @ Big Timber. I'd now add them to the list. It's a secure and clean campground. The sites are plenty big enough where you're not on top of each other. There are also some lake side sites available. Out front they have a tree top zip line course that the kids enjoyed. A fishing lake, swimming lake, heated pool, miniature golf, and other amenities available on premises. Also only minutes away from Cape May County Zoo which also has a tree top zip line course that's really well designed in my opinion.
We plan on going back.

05Dually Crew - We stayed at Big Timber back in 2012 when the town of Stone Harbor celebrated their centennial. I was also celebrating the 50th Anniversary of when I started my Lifeguarding career there. Nearly 200 former lifeguards showed up for the celebration, including one of my Dad's best friends who was over 100 years old, and started lifeguarding there in the 1930's!! Stone Harbor is a magical place, and Big Timber is one of the best RV Parks we have ever visited. Hope to visit again before my wife empties my "Bucket List".
