No power to the dash/ignition

I have a new to me 2020 Berkshire XL40E diesel pusher. Just got it 2 weeks ago. Dealer supplied it with new batteries. I brought it home and put it in storage. Went to start it and the batteries were dead after 2 weeks. Changed everything up but no power to the dash and no ignition. Got 13 volts at the battery and the display panel shows chassis batteries at 0.3 volts. There has to be a fuse or breaker in the line with the cable from the battery. Does anyone know where there is a fuse or breaker that I can check. I searched but haven’t come across anything. Any help would be appreciated.

My 2013 390rb has schematics on the battery bays (both house and chassis).

Do you not have them or are they of no help?

for the time being... while you are looking at switches and how to use your power options.

connect a stand alone battery charger to the chassis battery get it charged ASAP
depending on it's type it may get damaged if it is left discharged too long.

Did that and across the terminals I got 13 volts.

So... did you replace the battery(ies) or charge them?

If you replaced them, are you sure you got all the wires back on at the proper terminals?

I don't have your rig but many not only have the heavy battery cable attached to the battery post but also smaller feed wires for other things. Just a thought.

Turns out it’s one schematic that’s stuck to both bay doors.

It’s attached

Make sure the battery disconnect switch in the chassis battery compartment is in the correct position.

Assuming you are testing the chassis batteries. 2 things to look at is to make sure the chassis disconnect switch is ON and there is a 300A block fuse on the chassis battery post that may be blown.

I believe he indicated the battery is at 13v.

Perhaps a fusible link.

I have no idea how the OP is measuring or doing stuff.
battery reads 13v ? panel says .3v?

I do know if it is discharged, leaving it that way is not good for a starting battery
so while he's working out switches and other power stuff

get the battery charged before it needs to be replaced!

When measuring the battery... Diagram above shows 2 batteries
using a multi meter is best ......... Measure BOTH batteries separately if if there is 2.

disconnect shore power then measure...
you might be reading charge voltage from your shorepower converter ...(battery charger)... even though the batteries may be flat.

If the batteries are flat may take overnight to get them fully charged again.

Then work out how best to store the RV

so batteries are maintained or should you disconnect them while stored?

Found the 300A block fuse today. Get a new one tomorrow. That should correct the problem. Next is to figure out what was on to drain the battery.

Is the fuse blown?
Did you test it?

Big thing if you are going to let it sit for a period of time without using it is to turn off the disconnects in the battery bays, along with the Disconnect in the step wheel of the entry way. those hard disconnects will help keep juice in the batteries. Also if the coach is going to sit for a few months, i always recommend to customers to go show it a little bit of PM love every month. you would be shocked what taking it for a little drive will do for the life span of the tires, and starting the Generator to keep it nice and lubed up. Also I know your coach doesn't have an aqua hot system, but if you do have an aqua hot I always recommend running the diesel burner once a month in storage.

Quite possibly, you have a bad ground at the battery terminals, the connection at the chassis, or the cables themselves. Often the most overlooked on the ground side. Thirteen volts indicates the batteries are good. Point 3 volts at the panel may indicate a complete circuit, but a poor one. Voltage can't get past a blown fuse.

Starting Problem

Looks to me like you are getting a lot of comments on your chassis batteries but you are trying to start the engine...right? Are your chassis batteries fully charged? Have you tried the battery boost switch on the dash...this supplies some current from the house batteries to the starter batteries and will help with starting.

If the house batteries are charged you can use conventional jumper cables and jump from the house batteries to the starter batteries and get it running.
