North Carolina DMV inspection for Berkshire XLT 45A?

Its finally time for the inspection on my coach and I asked my local dealer that does my service work and warranty work to do the inspection and I guess they don't do that for DP's? Not certified or something.

I am in the South Charlotte area. I always take my cars to my dealer and get the yearly service done at the same time as the inspection, but since my dealer cannot do it, does anyone have any suggestions on where to take it in the South Charlotte area?

They suggested Hilbish Ford which is up near them, but does anyone know who can do these inspections? Can I get this done at any car dealer? Or does it need to be someone that works on diesel trucks?

There is the local freightliner dealer where I got them to do some warranty work on the engine and generator when they had issues, but they are also way north of me. And slow as all get out as they are SUPER busy servicing trucks.

Any suggestions?

Any shop that can do diesel truck inspections can do the inspection. The difference comes in when the GVWR exceeds 26,000 lbs and/or the coach has air brakes. Car inspection shops usually don't bother with 26,000 lbs and up inspection certifications.

Find a local semi/trailer shop. Most of them will inspect a travel trailer or motorhome.

Cool, found a truck care place near where I store it that can do it, so that will work out nicely. And I can likely get them to do my service on it also Its miles away to get to the freightliner place.
