Numbers Airbags front and rear Axle

Hello, we Emanuel and Nicole from Europe (Switzerland) and own a Forest River Berkshire 2007 with xc -r chassis and MB 900 engine. We now want to change the air bellows on the front and rear axles. Unfortunately, the numbers are no longer visible, the front axle says 1T15 TQ1 on the bellows, and we don't find any numbers on the rear axle. Can you help us get the numbers through? Thanks and Regards
Sorry for me englisch

I would call Freightliner the number above to get the proper part information.

You can try Forest River, Berkshire in Elkhart Indiana.
Contact for service is Mitch Wirt Phone 574-295-2117
mwirt@forestriverinc.com

OR try Freightliner ( Division of Daimler)
FCCCRV.com in Gaffney South Carolina

For either place have your 17 digit VIN available. This gives them your exact build specification. There might also be a FR Berkshire build number but the VIN will show your chassis parts.

Getting Parts info for Freightliner Chassis

I often go to the DTNA website (Daimler Trucks North America), since the Freightliner chassis of the Berk is made by them.

Set up a free account with your Chassis VIN number and it will give you the information on the build of your coach. I'm hoping that this goes back to 2007 for you. My 2015 is well covered.

https://login-dtna.prd.freightliner....ConnectHome%2f

One nice thing I learned about my chassis is that it has two MBAs. As a retired finance professor, I must say that the chassis must be pretty smart! I suspect that MBA means "Mercedes Benz Axle", since the reference is to axles. But, I like the academic story...

I’m surprised that you are blocked from the site. Is it blocking your European IP address? If it doesn’t like your address, just give a home address in the US or Canada. If it blocks your IP, try using a VPN that makes it seem like your IP is in the US.

There is a lot of useful information on that site, and I think you have a right to access it, since you own a Freightliner chassis.

Thanks, I'll try again. We are very happy with the Frightliner chassis and the MB engine. I'm looking forward to Daimer Frightliner's home page

It's common for the model year of the vehicle chassis to be a year different than the RV. RV builders buy the chassis as an "incomplete vehicle" and convert it to an RV, and that often takes a year. Then they give it a new VIN (vehicle identification number).

But nobody servicing your chassis wants the RV year, they need the VIN and year of the chassis.

DMV is a different story. Some states use the original chassis VIN, and some use the RV VIN.

Sometimes all this confusion can work for you; after buying my RV, I found out it was a 2012 instead of a 2011, and my dealer -- wasn't very good at handling details. So any of those RV parks that restrict the age of RVs now have to give me one more year.

YMMV.

Have you tried contacting Freightliner custom chassis out of Gaffney, SC? As the manufacture we buy a chassis from them that would have the air bags installed on it, they should be able to help you.

https://www.fcccrv.com/owners/#owners-fcoc

or you can always call 1-800-FTL-Help and it should connect to someone at the gaffney facility where the chassis are made.
