We stayed a week at Grizzly and loved it... Short walk into town and a great fly shop for those that do that sort of thing (me)... Also close to a West entrance into park ... A little pricy but worth it...

Admiral Roo2,
As for your generator question, get a Honda! Very quite and reliable. I have a 3000i that I used when I had a travel trailer. It was great! Others I saw at that time would get two Honda 2000's and link them together. They are easier to handle than the 3000i, which weights a lot. Hope that helps! Also make sure you secure them to something, so they don't walk off during the night!

Wow 10 days!? My wife used to push me like we were staying in hotels years ago. No more. We still make those crazy trips with our kids here and there, but we stretch most of them out to a month or so over the summer. We are both teachers in Texas. Here's our trip starting July 2nd. My kids are older now, 18 and 21. One a junior in college the other starting college this fall, but they love it. (Lots of record stores on this trip)
Have fun.

Looks like a fun trip. Good pics and info. Hopefully the wife and I will head out west next year. It's kind of tough when the BH puts a 2 week limit on our trips but we have been able to see a lot even doing it that way. Later RJD

Looks like things are going great Tater, I had to cancel our trip to Colorado this year because of work. Highly disappointed about that.
That's some beautiful areas you are visiting.

Our big Summer trip!
Nice time visiting Leavenworth.
Stayed the night at Rimrock. It was a challenge negotiating the trees!
Took a detour and saw Mt. Rainer from a distance.
Then a detour to the coast and thru Astoria.
Staying about 40 miles north of Portland tonight. Nice park called Columbia Riverfront.

Thanks! At the coast today there was not a turn around where I drove the Rv into. I had to take the car off the dolly - take the tow dolly off the Rv and then proceed to do a 33 point u-turn on a 2 lane street. Lol!!!!!! Actually it was pretty easy.

Punch bowl falls today in Oregon.
Trail on the way back down. About a 5 mile hike round trip.
Driving the Oregon/Washington line
Our wonderful campsite tonight just outside of Burns Oregon. Like someone said earlier highway 20 from Bend to Boise is about the most boring - straight - slow (posted 55mph) road I have been on in a while! Lol!
