Outside TV help please

Hello all,

I'm looking for some information about taking down the outside TV. I see a bracket with three screws on each side. Is it as simple as taking those down and then the TV is free? I either have a brand new HDMI cable that went bad or the cable has come loose from the TV. Doing the tailgating thing and would hate to go without the outside viewing.

Thanks,
JJ

The three screws on each side will get you to the back of the TV. Problem was elsewhere.

JJ, looks like you have the same model as I do. I just installed an in motion satellite dish. I paid extra to have the outside TV hooked into the system. My outside TV wasn't picking up the signal. After some investigation I found the cables they installed from the midship TV station were cut. I found the cut under the kitchen sink, under the rack that is made for the stove and sink cover plates.

I'll be bringing it back to the dealer once my trip is over.

Almost the same for me...shoddy workmanship. I paid to have the rig rewired with HDMI. Provided the cables and switch to save $$$. The installer used the wrong length to the outside. He put a female/female adapter and a 6 foot cable to the TV. Used electrical tape to bind it. First time the slide went out it pulled apart under the sink. Just from my experience....NEVER USE CAMPING WORLD OF CHARLESTON FOR ANYTHING. Hope yours get's fixed without hassle.

Would like to see (what you see of it) the back of the TV. Most hangers have a release on them. Whether a screw or just a lock of some sort. I have never seen a one piece TV mount. I may be way off, as I'm not familiar with you RV. You should be able to find the lock and just drop the TV off of the mount. Make sure you have a good hold of the TV when you undo the lock, some you have to slide the TV up and out others just fall loose.

dmf564,

I've got a 2013 390bh. The outside TV does not have the locks. The bracket is screwed on the back of the TV. The bracket then mounts to RV wall with three screws on each side of the bracket.
