Passenger mirror view

My co-pilot is used to viewing the traffic coming up on our right side however with the possible purchase of a 2014 390FL she has no mirror view, any ideas or thoughts

You should have both a flat mirror (powered for your control) and a convex mirror to see alongside and curb side of your vehicle if adjusted properly.

If you take the time to set them correctly, YOU are the only person that is in control of what’s beside you.

Millions of large vehicle drivers have to navigate solo.

I was a School Bus driver for years too, so I know.

Our 40A is the same. Short of the additional camera I haven’t found a good fix either, and I’m pretty reluctant to do any drilling to add a mirror elsewhere.

I found a narrow mirror in the auto accessories stores that fit between screen and door frame. I wish it was taller but I could get a second one to add to top and she would be happier. It had a plastic frame around it so I cut it down to fit between glass and screen and glued bracket to back and screw it to window frame.Click image for larger version

Feedfold,
And that’s working for her and doesn’t get in your view? Was getting the right angle a chore?

Patience

Don’t drill any holes yet. I’m working on a better solution. I’ve got the same gripe from co-pilot. I have to run some tests on prototype. Should have something by Friday.

I promised something by today so here goes.
I haven’t found the proper mirror but the concept is sound.
I will attach a small convex mirror to a metal plate that will have a protective cover so that the metal won’t scratch the glass. The metal will be held against the glass with a rare earth magnet on the inside surface of the glass. The magnet won’t move around on the glass because it will be held in place by double sided tape. Voila!
Placed on the lower left corner of the right window (next to the passenger seat) this is the simplest solution. Prototype is to crude to include a picture. But you get the idea.

I know I have seen some people install an extra monitor to display the camera views for the passenger...

will not a NEW stick-on convex mirror on the regular mirror help?

Can’t see the right mirror from the passenger seat.
Berkshire XL.
You can only see the right mirror from the drivers seat.

We used 2 button cameras inserted in the top of the mirror to see down each side. 2 monitors (one for each camera) mounted above the driver shows left and right side of coach. It is also great when parked to see if anyone is walking up the side of your coach. Button cameras and monitors purchased on Amazon. (inside A-piller had to be removed to fish wires from camera to monitors).
