I will travel again paying it forward as I go. My Berk and I will touch lives.
A year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia(APL). LLS was there with Me and my family from the very beginning with friendship, support and critical treatment information, through a long hospital stay, daily chemo, aches and pains, weight gain, and clinic visits.
Now I am in remission however I am still receiving oral chemo daily for another year.
In an effort to pay it forward I am working with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in raising funds for critical research to beat Blood Cancers along with education programs for patients and their families. We also give needed financial help.
I am just one of the thousands of lives saved because of the work LLS can do with the support of people like you.
