Thank you Phil57! Sounds like fun! If I get my DH to go, I will let you know! My MIL snowbirds in Fl ever year, so I may get him to drive down with me to visit, now that he is retired!

Phil57.....thanks for posting the pictures. It looks beautiful there. We are interested in purchasing a lot there and will be renting a lot from February to mid-April. We have never been there before and wanted to rent before purchasing. Your pictures really give us a nice perspective... Lee

Phil, we are scheduled to rent Site 23... Could you please check out that site for us and what is behind it? The rental office said it was a farm? Would really appreciate it. We are from Pennsylvania, near Milford...look forward to meeting you at 261....Lee

When people came in to rent them the office allowed the renters to choose which lot they wanted to rent?? Thus maybe certain lots would never get rented. I felt if there were 15 lots that were available for rent they should rent on a revolving basis. Thus so far we haven't found an ownership program that works for us. We rent a lot now on a yearly basis. Yearly Figures out to be equal to 3.5 months rent.

We just purchased a lot at Traverse Bay RV Resort near Traverse City, Michigan. Only open from May to Nov, but met our needs. Phil was there with us in September. They have a rental pool that as owners you can choose to join but we chose not to. We will spend most of the summer there and then a few months in Florida to warm up. The park sounds like it's managed a lot like Phil's. Our coach houses even look the same, but his won't have 2 feet of snow on it come January.

It's a beautiful park in a beautiful area. You and Karen will build a lot of memories there.
Did you get your rig back yet?

I will go take a look at the lot and post some pictures. 23 must be a popular site.

Phil,
If you keep inviting visitors, you are going have to buy a vineyard to have enough wine and a cattle ranch to have enough beef for everyone! (LOL!!) Just save some for Margaret and I and Marty and Donna!!

It sounds like happy hours are going to be fun. We live our wine and maybe a little gin. In fact we were at the neighbors doing happy hour.

Ok for Jolee and Joe pictures of lot 23. It is an outside lot so behind you will be our neighbors. I have never heard any complaints from anyone other than one pissy guy that didn't like the park at all.
Anyway it's a nice lot close to the pool. Great folks across from the lot and someone I haven't met yet just bought the lot next door. Click image for larger version

Thanks Phil. I liked the location of that lot ( others are similar, as I think yours ) being across from the intersecting road should be easy to back / drive in ( straight shot ).

Plus I figured you were probably starting to get bored ( retired and all ) taking the pictures. Looks like a real nice park, probably 2-3 years out for us though. ( sigh )
