i received a NHTA recall notice today from Forest River about the rear PCM for the tail lights and break lights. I already took my 45A in to have it checked at the Freightliner dealer and they said it tested ok. It appears as it it will have to be replaced now as ordered by the recall. Any comments? It said that I will get a second notice as the parts become available.

I haven't received one for my Berky, but we had the same recall on our previous coach. Even after you get the second notice, I would call your local Freightliner shop and verify they have the part in stock before you take it in. It is a quick part swap but it took several extra days because my local shop didn't have the part in stock and had to wait for it.

I took mine to FL last May for a turn signal break lights issue. Didn't know about the recall but they certainly did. Said it would only take any hour to swap. They swapped it out then but it didn't fix the problem. Fuse kept popping. Turned out to be a screw through the wiring harness but they kept the new PCM in anyways and trouble free ever since.

I had my PDM replaced a couple weeks ago when my lights didn't work. FL found the recall with some help from FR and it was replaced in one day. I got my letter a couple days ago,
a little late. No harm.

I got my letter on Monday, but, i had my PDM replaced last Friday. I was having a problem with my tail lights.
