propane tank
Other than the propane tank built into the coach and having a quick release fitting on the camp side to use for accessories, Does anyone also bring along a BBQ size portable tank or even the little camping quart size ones along? or is this a no no.

I also carry a separate 20 lb tank for the grill. We do most of our cooking outdoors.

I carry several of the small quart size bottles with us for the tabletop grille. Never had an issue. I do make sure not to leave them on the grille just in case something gets against the gas control and depresses it. I also keep them stored well away from the furnace and water heater just in case.

I used to run the coleman stove and bbq off of one of the 30lb tanks direct. New TT has the low pressure lp lines so I use a low pressure stove and converted the weber bbq to run off of the built in low pressure lp. It would be unusual if I burned through both tanks in a season

We just purchased a camp chef dual burner stove to take with us. This past weekend we took a tank off of the Roo.
I thought I could use the built in line, but seems it has a quick connect fitting on it so I couldn't hook that line to our stove.
Can you buy a fitting for that?
But it wasn't to bad doing that. Need to remember to take the tank off before setting up the front bunk... Had to pick bunk back up and take tank off.
I might end up picking up another 20lb tank though

Carry the 1lb. and refill them from the 20lb. with one of those adapters. Super convienent if your pressed for space. To me the convience is king in this application.

I run totally off the Berk's built in tank. I use the camp side quick connect to BBQ and grill with. It last quite a long time. We camp at least once a month for at least 3 days, normally 4 day trips. It's been 8 months since I've filled and I am at 1./4 tank now.
The only time I bring a portable bottle is if I will boil some crabs, shrimp or crawfish while camping. I need the high pressure regulator for that.
