Radio replacement

I have a 2012 390BH with a Jensen radio and I would like to replace with an upgradable replacement! Has anybody done this and what did you use?

I have a 2014 390RB and the dealer replaced it with "something" that included a GPS. I'm sorry I don't remember exactly what unit it was but I will look when I get home from work and let you know. I really like it.

Marcus, does it still have those two little speakers?

If you're looking for better sound, changing speakers is the solution.

You know I'm not sure about the speakers. It's been in storage all winter so it's been a while since I listened to it. I'll break it out tonight and give it a listen. It seems like I don't remember them changing the speakers but any audio shop should be able to do that for you. Or you could do it if you're handy with that kind of thing. I was more concerned about having a GPS.

I remember my shock at the rats nest of wires when they picked that panel up off the dash. How would you know what went where? They did though.

All the wires behind the radio are labeled. Changing the two speakers ceilings is pretty easy. I posted a how to guide recently on the forum. The speakers sounded so bad we could not stand to listen to the GPS talking. Much less music.

Sorry it took me so long to respond but I got tied up with a project at work. I looked in my coach and my radio is a Clarion NX501. I think they are discontinued now but I'm sure they have a current model that's similar. I really like the interface but I was most concerned about having a GPS. Although I have a road atlas, I like having a GPS for things like restaurants etc. Good luck if you decide to switch yours out.
