Rear Airbags Won't Inflate

the rear airbags on my 2023 45XLTCA won't inflate. The front ones inflate fine.

I know there's a switch that controls airbag function but can't seem to locate it.

Does anyone know the location of said switch & if there another fix to this problem.

Here is how to inflate the airbags: You may have to do this process more than once.

1-START ENGINE

2-POWER ON LEVELING SYSTEM

3-HIT RETRACT ALL BUTTON

4-LET SYSTEM CYCLE

5-POWER OFF LEVELING SYSTEM

6-CHECK AND SEE IF AIR BAGS ARE INFLATED

Lincman,

Thanks for the get back. I tried that procedure yesterday but no joy.

Looks like FL is going to get some business.

What position is your TAG Dump Switch in? Just a thought might try cycling that. Also does your coach have the air line all the way to the rear of the coach (freightliner brakesync)?

Erica,

The tag dump switch is in the normal position. I don't know if it has FL sync.

I had that happen to me. I found out that I was doing the leveling and retracting wrong. I was told that you automatically level, when getting ready to go, run the engine until the pop-off valve sounds, then hit retract all. Keep the engine running until you hear the pop-off valve again and you are ready to go.

Do you have a airline below the 7 way plug off the hitch?

InLine,

That's how my 2011 390BH worked. Tried it on the 2023, no joy.

EricB,

So far I've found a defective leveling valve & a leaking rear air bag.

Will keep everyone apprised after I replace these parts.

Riding high & sitting pretty again.

FL also had to replace the tubing going to the leveling valve.

Parts had to come from NC, thus the delay. Repairs done under warranty.

Thanks everybody that offered repair solutions. They've been stored in the data banks.
