Recommemded Options

Hello all! I'm going to order a new Berkshire 390Bh-60, probably within the next week. Any recommendations for options? Or perhaps recs against certain options? Thanks in advance!

I would recommend the 350 HP engine (they may offer a 360 option as well) with the 3000 transmission. I have the 340 and would like a little more power.

Not sure what is standard on the new units but I got the dual pane windows, side view cameras, and 15000 btu air conditioner for the front unit. My question to you is- what is 390BH-60? I just know the model as 390BH.

A lot of dealers are referring to the 360hp units as 390bh-60s and the 340hp units as 390bh-40s.

Ahh- ok. That makes sense.

Also, Welcome to the fourms. There are a number of 390bh owners here so if you have any other questions, be sure to ask. I'm sure one of us will be able to help you.

Good luck and hope to see pictures of your new coach soon!!

If they have color backup and side view cameras, go with those. Same for aluminum wheels if they are offered. As Tom said, go with the front 15,000 btu A/C.

Joker -
Since you are in a cooler climate - I would say the dual pane widows is a must!

I posted my thoughts o the motor - basically get what you need for the weight you are going to tow!

I am NOT sure about the new model - but we got the larger Fridge on our unit. If I had to do it again - I might opt for the regular size fridge and keep the pantry instead. But this depends on your needs..

Good luck!

I am not a Berkshire owner, but fortunate to be a driver of a 2011 390BH for an owner.

I would recommend the model 6600R Fantastic Fan in the bathroom. The power opening capability alone is worth the extra cost, especially when a shorter person doesn't have to stand on the toilet seat to open the vent.
