We use a mini bungee with plastic hook so it won't scratch. Works great!

We have the two top doors then freezer on the bottom. Never worry about the freezer on the bottom. It stays shut. Easy to bungee the top doors. If you forget you will realize it rather quick

Saw these used the bottom freezer of an Integra bus. They just had a different bracket that it slipped into. Maybe we could find out from integra what they used

Some of us may have regular two door residential refers with no handles...(like ours), which is a Whirlpool, but we must insert this bolt with a knob between the upper freezer door and the lower fridge door before traveling. The knob keeps either door from coming open. It certainly works, but it's a little bit of a pain. Certainly do-able, but heck, if there is a better way, then why not. Well, DW found these baby safety straps with latches on each end that have real promise. She picked up a set (they come in pairs) the other day at Walmart. I plan to install them this week. They may work well for some in this application or maybe another. Anyway, here is the website so you'll know what your looking for.

I use the bungee strap for the freezer, which works fine, but use a velcro strap for the fridge. I looked at the SS latches, but thought with my kids, they would pull on the handle until it opened and popped the screws out. Plus I had the straps already.
