Have you looked in the child proofing center at your local hardware store? We used a refer child lock for our fridge....

There was a longer bungee cord that came out in 3rd quarter of last year.
It is longer and goes around all 3 handles including the freezer.
We got one at the factory and it work very well.

I saw this on a motor home at the Tampa TV show. I have no info on it but it worked and looked very nice. I will try to find some info.

My new Legacy has a Residential Whirlpool but it has a top freezer, not a side by side. It came with a 3 inch post/screw with knob on the end that you screw into a hole where the bottom of the freezer door handle lines up with top of refrigerator door. Kind of a pain, but it stays closed!

I installed a whirlpool french door 19.7 on my 2011 39 BH and purchased at Home Depot a flexible cord that I twist around my door handles when rolling and had no issues with doors opening

Mine came with a length of Velcro that wraps around the handles. Mine is a french door Whirlpool with a bottom freezer.

Would love to see where this came from, Phil. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Well took the Berk on her Maiden voyage to Tennessee and needless to say FR you need to rethink the bungee cord attempting to hold the doors closed. Have the ones making those suggestions really seen what happens when you take a corner with food in a refrigerator and on the doors and freezer? Try food ending up in the freezer when all 3 doors opened. Broke the bungee supplied with the coach ended up using stronger bungee doubled up but even that did not hold doors closed.
Wife ended up sitting on the couch putting feet against doors when making left hand turns.
Not sure what to do on the return trip home but this isn't going to work as it is designed.

This gentleman on RV Networks has a system he says works well. A very elegant solution:
NORMANS on the HORIZON: Samsung Refrigerator Door Lock

And here are some more ideas:

What an idea! We usually use the cords and one of the straps that came for the chairs. Just takes a little time to put on and take off at stops.

The residential fridge in our Legacy came with a long machine screw with a black plastic knob. There is a tapped hole for it located in the metal strip between the fridge and freezer sections. You're supposed to just screw it in and go, but ours still came open. I bought a rubber washer at Lowe's (3/16 x 1-1/2 x 1/8), slipped it on the shaft under the knob and that did the trick.

The problem most of us are facing is unless the refrigerator manufacturers provide some sort of mounting for a lock FR does not want to do anything in fear of voiding the warranty. Once warranty expires you are free to do what you want.
What brand of refrigerator does the legacy come with?
