RV GPS

Wanting to not have to use our 10 year old Tom Tom to come back home from the dealer when we pick the coach up. I want to steer clear of any low overpasses, which pretty sure we went under one when we left a couple of weeks ago from the dealer with our car. Plus the fact well we'll need a dedicated unit for the coach anyways.

What's everyone using ?

Garmin RV 760LMT Portable GPS Navigator

We went with the Magellan RV9365 LMT and are very pleased. Plugged in width, height, length and towing and finally weight. Does all the thinking for us.

We have the Garmin RV 760 LTM and love it. Had the Rand McNally RV unit and got rid of it after going theough 4 of them in less than a year.

We recommend the Garmin to all of our friends. After 2 years still pleased with the Garmin.

I did 2k miles with the Garmin RV760, in RV mode it was flawless.
I got it from gpscity, as a refurbished unit it was $260 shipped.

I have the Garmin 760 also. It's good except every now and then it wants me to take a back road when there are better highways to travel on.

With any GPS system it's still good to review on google maps or that type to check the route the GPS system will take you on.

Ordered the Garmin 760 today. Hopefully once retired I'll want to go at a slower pace and not go all ballistic if it steers me onto back roads as long as it avoids low overhead bridges.

Garmin nuvi 2689 lmt...flawless, coast to coast and back. ( once I figured out how to program it)
