Safe-T-Plus

Sorry I can't vouch for the system yet - but am certainly planning on installing it for the blow-out safety factor. The improved handling will be a bonus. I'll post results when it's installed but that won't be for another month or so.

Safe-T-Plus

Had one installed about six months ago on my 2008, 360. Most noticeable in higher winds and when large trucks pass. Be sure it is installed by a shop that has done several as they must realign the steering several times following install.

My buddy and I are looking at the Safe-t-plus for our 390QS motorhomes. We are also looking to add the Henderson Trim kit for it and the Henderson Motion Control Units. Has anyone else any experience with these add on?

Have had the safe-t-plus on ours for about two years. really inproved the steering, firmer and handles better in winds and passing semi trucks. Now can drive down the road and not fighting the wheel at all.

Just had a question for everyone concerning this system. I have a 2014 390BH-40 and it rides / handle like a dream! Is this system used on the older chassis because they were not as beefed up as the newer ones or is it still good for the new ones too??? I've already put about 4000 miles on mine and I've had no issues on the highways passing or being passed by larger vehicles. I usually cruise around 70 and mpg avg about 11 and it's straight and smooth. Wasn't sure if this was a necessary upgrade or add on for the newer chassis.

Thanks

Jason

My buddy and I both have 2008 390QS coaches. Like you they drive great. We are looking at the safe-t-plus as protection against front tire blow out. For us it is more like insurance. The Henderson trim kit will make setup easer and give it more flexibility when driving out west in the heavu winds. The Henderson motoin control units are to cure the Wallmart wobble. There is a lot of injfo on these on the IRV2 forum. We just figured while under the coach do everything and as we are doing the install the savings in labor will pay for the motion control.

Got ya, thanks for the info!!! What is the walmart wobble? My previous gas class A had a wobble in the steering wheel when hitting bumps and also had a lot of play, but my new berkshire has neither of these issues at all!!

Walmart wobble, when you pull out of a parking lot onto the road and the coach tips side to side or when a passing truck gives you a push. Not bad on the Berkshire but the reviews on IRV2 for the motion control valves are really impressive even for people who never thought they had any problems. You should give them a read. Search on Motion Control
