Salesman switch

What causes the salesman switch to trip?
Flushing the toilet did
Extending the wardrobe slide did
Just started doing it.
Help!
Could it be battery charging.???

I have no idea how a switch can 'trip'...are you referring to a breaker??

BTW, the 'salesman switch' might be a term deemed for the 'switch', usually right near the entry door, that can easily switch off all 12v systems, including all lights, fans, and anything 12v related, with a single switch, as you are entering, or exiting. The term probably refers to the fact that salesmen could easily switch off all the lights that had been used to show the new RV to potential buyers, as they all left the RV. Otherwise, as we all know, there are so many switches for lights within RVs that it otherwise becomes an exercise in jumping thru hoops to do it one at a time.

Sounds like the electronic battery disconnect needs changed. Its in the battery compartment back wall. If you Call precision circuits or Forest River we will get it taken care of. You can see what it looks like in the document I have attached.Berkshire RV Power Presentation (1).pdf

Very confusing post. Please clarify. I can't say as I've ever heard of a toilet tripping anything. Need more info!

Salesman Switch

That’s the switch. I flushed the toilet as a system check yesterday. The result was that as the toilet flushed the coach went dark. I have seen this happen when extending the slide. So I went to the switch and reset. (It’s a toggle with a latch on the other end of the wire)
Everything turned back on. Thanks for the link to precision.
Note: I was on a 50 amp supply when this happened.

If you have a 2020 or 2021 Berkshire, a service bulletin 40-1176 was recently issued on the battery disconnect located in the house battery compartment. The PCI battery disconnect PN 00-10041-100 has been disconnecting when not commanded causing loss of power in the living quarters. Mine was located in the upper middle of the house battery bay, labeled BD 160 with the part number underneath.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who replied to my initial posting. I contacted Randy Alwine at FR diesel. He is a great asset and is always quick to respond to inquiries. He gave me the TSB information and told me to give it to the service department when the coach goes in for it’s upcoming scheduled appointment.
I hope we can all hit the road in 2021.
Thanks again.
