Satellite and Matrix
So I am finally trying out my direct TV. Have the box plugged into the Satellite connection above the fireplace. Have the box plugged into the matrix (B) with the HDMI plug. Dish is honed into the satellites. I have the tv tuned to HDMI for the source. No signal to any of the TVs. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Gonna take the satellite plate off and see if it’s connected next. Any help? Thanks

so, your 'box'(Dish receiver?)'s output is an HDMI cable into the 'matrix'(Box of many buttons to select the 'source signal' for each tv?), is the output of the matrix box to each TV an HDMI cable?
if you are 'honed in' to the satellites, how would you know that if your TV is not showing it?

All of the cables going to the TVs are CAT5. HDMI from satellite box to the matrix

On mine, you have to have the correct button on the distribution center selected. Four buttons each with four positions. The one at the end of each series pushes to make the selection. Yours being newer probably has something that performs the same task. I’m sure that’s not the right name for it, but it has a series of selectable button that route the signal from the receiver, dvd,or whatever to the various tv’s. On mine, i also wait and let the antenna find the signal-then I turn on the sat. Receiver and selector button. Usually takes a few seconds then I don’t have to go thru the refresh routine with directv.

That’s what I was thinking. Each one of four has four different selections.

Just not sure if it’s automatic or you have to manually select

Again, they’re probably a bit different, but mine are manual so I can play different inputs on different tv’s if I want. As long as you have the receiver on, plugged into the antenna and also into that distribution center it’s got to be lurking in there somewhere it seems like.

I’ll keep playing with it and see what I can figure out. Thanks

The receiver is connected to the satellite dish connection in the cabinet above the fireplace. Then I have an HDMI cable going from the receiver to the matrix box.

I figured it out this morning. I thought the input and output selections were automatic. Changed the input source on the TV to HDMI and manually selected input B on the matrix (that’s where the receiver is connected) and it works.

It took me a while to figure it out too, since there is NO book or Op Manual and the Indoc guy at Lazy Days where I bought it had no idea how it worked. My one question is can I watch local channels on TV #2 while I watch Directv on TV’s 1 & 4? The local antenna signal amp seems to interfere with the Directv signal.

Yes you can. You just have to manually select them and tune the individual TV to either cable, antenna, dvd or state lite. If you want satellite you have to select HDMI on the tv source.
