Has anyone done this,route and have any advice for the trip?

I might be wrong but I believe Skyline Drive is a road that leads to the Blue Ridge Parkway. If I'm right, lots of fun on a Harley. Saw many motorhomes on the way south. That was several years ago but I can't imagine much has changed.

There is a tunnel closer to Front Royal I believe it is 12'. You will want to check the height of tunnel, there maybe other tunnels as well.
