Slide and Awning Problem

I have 2 situations that I was wondering if anyone else has encountered.

I just returned from Disney World and noticed that the slide out awning on my living room slide seems to have wrinkled and has some slack in it when the slide is retracted. I just returned yesterday and have not had a chance to look at it as yet (kind of cold here also) but was wondering if anyone else had this and, if so, how it was fixed.

The second thing I was wondering if anyone had any problems with the cables on the wardrobe/bunk slide. I had one break last summer (top cable toward the front of the coach) and it was a really BIG pain to replace it. Since then, I check the cables periodically. I noticed that the bottom-rear cable is showing signs of wear also. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
