Same here. He responded quickly to my first email. He needed my serial number and where I'm from. I sent the info he needed but have not heard back from him. It's been over two weeks.

Usually he forwards your info to the parts dept. They ship the part or parts directly to you. As I recall it took me 2-3 weeks to get my replacement slide motor.

did they ship your slide motor directly to you, or the dealer?

Update, randy says he's going to have Andy ship the slide out plates to me. Along with the slide motor that I need also. Will let you know when / if it arrives.

I'm afraid I'm not anywhere near the rig right now. But it doesn't look real bad yet. I'm hoping it will prevent it from getting worse.

The picture of the bed room (bed side) is the one replaced and the kitchen one was also replaced at Frog ralley in Aug. the one on the wardrobe side is the same, minus the cut outs for the gear assembly. They were replaced due to light comming in, now wearing out.

For those of you that have had the plates installed on bottom of slide, have they corrected the issue and any new problems since install?

Our Legacy is in for some one year warranty items and we have some sagging in the middle of our large drivers side slide. You can see counter sag about 1/4 inch when slide is in and then levels out when slide is out. Inspected bottom of slide floor and the two middle rollers are leaving pretty good imprints in the bottom side of slide. Forest River is installing these plates to correct this.

Just curious if you all are happy with this remedy? We haven't had any other issues with the slide. Hopefully this corrects the problem and prevents future issues.

UPDATE:
After about a month and a half emailing and talking to Randy, I gave up on him.
Randy had promised to send the slide plates and a slide motor to me about Dec 4 after many email exchanges and phone calls.

I left a message with Andy yesterday and he called me back this morning. He said Randy had not passed any info to him about what I needed, but he would take care of it right away.

Now I have hope that I will get the parts soon.

Dan that doesn't sound like Randy. I wonder what's going on? He's usually on top of it. Hope you get your parts quickly from Andy.

Contact with Randy

I contacted Randy early in December, and told him we had been waiting for parts for over 3 months. Randy said he doubted that, and that he would check into it and get back to me. Never heard anything from Randy. the parts did get here, my service guy said that one of the parts was defective.

Dan,

Are you trying to add plates to the Kitchen slide? That's the one that always has me holding my breath. I will go take a look at mine today.

That is correct. Kitchen slide. That one rocks and drags and creaks on the way out.
I'm told the Dinette slide cannot use them since it is a 'flush' slide.
I expect them any time now and will post pictures when they arrive.
They do have to cut them on order as they are not on the shelf items.

Since I did not buy at MSHRV, they really don't want my service business apparently.

Planning on having United RV in Fort Worth do the work.
