As I have said before, the pump does *not* turn on using either switch, inside or out and there is water in it. Shows 1/3 full.

Horizontal means just as the previous post describes, flat or in the same direction as the hose. I am hoping it is just electrical and that the dealer will replace it.

I appreciate all the feedback, There is clearly lots of knowledge on this forum. We are getting the rig back Monday afternoon and they are supposed to have fixed the pump issue as well as a couple of other smaller items. Wonder if the ice maker only works off the fresh water tank?

Looking forward to many years with this RV. We had our last one, a Class C from Jayco for 3 years and loved it but really needed a little more room as well as that beautiful diesel engine in the rear. Love how quiet it is compared to having a Ford V10 between us and the fact that I can barely detect when it downshifts, so smooth. Those hills up in Colorado should not be an issue anymore!

Thanks

First have misread your previous posts. I thought you werenun aware there was a switch. Sorry about that.

If you could double check the valves and even try turning them. There are 3 way valves and if the flow can't escape and the pressure is up the the pump won't run. The pressure switch controls when the pump runs and if there is pressure, it won't cycle.

The ice maker runs off the same cold water line that feeds the cold taps in kitchen and lavatory, the input to the water heater, and the toilet--that is, everything else.

If you have city water pressure or get the pump working, you should get ice.

There might be a shut-off valve beneath the refrigerator or in an adjacent cabinet, so you can cut off water if you need to service the refrigerator. If you can't find it, ask the dealer.
