The door magnetic switch operates just the opposite of the Lippert. Switch open with door open and switch closed with door closed for the Kwikee. If you got a door switch with your kit and didn't swap it out this could be your issue. If you did swap it out the power wires for the motor could be reversed. Don't know if a Berk is any different than a GT.
