Storing Coach

When storing coach do you or should I put leveling gear down to take weight off tires? Coach is hooked up to service under covered bay on concrete.

Jacks down, slides in and hooked up to power. Make sure you check batteries for water monthly and run your generator under load once a month.

Any tips?

I was thinking jacks up. Since slides are in and nothing running no reason to be level. Might benefit having some weight off tires.

Of course, you need to winterize your coach. I drain the fresh water tank, blow out the lines and put 12 oz of antifreeze in each drain. Then drain whatever residue is in the black and grey tanks.

Another winterize method is to charge all the lines with antifreeze, which I am sure you will be hearing advocates of this method.

Also make sure that you keep the batteries charged so that they do not freeze and burst.

I do it with jacks up.... With the air bags inflated, I built tower of wood (pressure treated) blocks that just fit under the jack pads with the air bags inflated. I then deflate the air bags and let the coach settle on the wood block towers.
This way, the jacks get to stay up, and it keeps weight off the suspension and deflated air bags.

X2!! I do the same but I just let the coach settle on the blocks as the air slowly seeps out of the bags.
