Thermostat in Bathroom

Here is what I learned this morning..

The fantastic fan in the bathroom is controlled by the thermostat in the bathroom. If the temp is set too high - the fan will not run. Not sure what the logic is - but did wonder what that thermostat controlled.

I now just turned it all the way down.

Camping this weekend..

That is an intereating bit of information as I have had intermitent problems with my bath fan. I will be checking to see if adjusting the T-stat will solve my intermittent problen.

If memory serves me correctly the Fantastic Fan in the bath does not have a power opening switch. You may want to make sure that you have the fan open before you switch the thermostat to activate the fan.

I don't have one, never been near one, but aren't they mainly used to help cool the trailer? Therefore they would act like air conditioning, coming on when the temp rises, and shutting off when the temp cools. Just a guess.

No worries there, the fans cover needs to be in the up position to turn on. The thermostat seems to power the circuit.

That's how our 2 operate. 1 in the kitchen arae and 1 in the rear bath. They operate if the temps get above the pre determined setting. They have 3 speeds and only operate if the top is open.

The one in the bath is also handy when there may be a less than pleasant aura about the bathroom. Also it helps to take the steam out after a shower. We do use both fans to cool the coach and they do work like a charm.
