I have a tecma macerator toilet in the rear bath. I drained it to try to adjust the water level. The instructions say to hold both buttons until water fills the bowl, then release when the desired water level is achieved.
But after draining all the water, I cannot refill the bowl. When I press both buttons, it won't program the water level.
I haven't had this happen before.
Any suggestions?

I'm connected to city water. The instructions on the toilet say to drain the water, then push both buttons to allow water to enter until it reaches the level you want. But when I push those buttons, it just drains again leaving no water in the bowl.
Okay, thanks. I've done this procedure before, of course, but for some reason this time it's giving me a hard time.
I can't tell if it's a problem with the toilet or weather since it's been really cold here, but like I say, it hasn't happened before. The toilet flushes, but doesn't refill properly.
So I asked engineering and they recommend calling the manufacture customer service at Phone: 1-800-543-1219 for Thetford. Might be a problem in the controls.
I think what happened in my case is the black tank was nearly full and even though the sensor on the Tecma wasn’t showing a red light it wouldn’t refill correctly.
I drained and flushed the tank and then did the large flush on the Tecma a couple of times. Then I reprogrammed water level. Now it’s working fine.
Not sure it’s the same as your problem but may be worth a try.
