We purchased our 2008 rig in late 2007 and like most rigs we had our share of issues. I had to replace the water control value behind the toilet because it froze. When I removed the toilet, I discovered the handheld spray nozzle was tucked under the toilet.
I always wondered why the bracket was on the wall, but no nozzle. Guess someone in the prep department took the day off. LOL Oh well, nice surprise any way.
I had a similar experience with the tubing used to draw anti-freeze into the water pump. I opened the 4" round access port and could not see the thing. I took the outer ring that the plug screws into off because my arm would not fit in far enough to feel around for it. I had my youngest daughter try and she located it but could move it. I then removed the entire sealed panel to gain access and found it with the wire tie still on it. It was coiled up and still fastened to the other part of the plumbing in that area. Someone just forgot to snip the tie off and place it properly. Fortunately that was the only thing we found that got missed that required disassembling anything to gain access. They forgot to install our counter-top extension during construction as well. It took 3 tries before they sent the correct color to match the rest of the kitchen counter-top.
I had a problem in my first camper when started camping in 2000, not sure how to winterize I left the valve closed over the winter and never drain it, I just didn't know. Now and for the past 9 years I make sure everything is drained and I use a piece of pvc pipe to keep the flush handle in the open position. No more freezing problems.
