Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!

Question, has anyone full timing been able to prepare a full Thanksgiving Day meal using the convection microwaves that come in the coaches? How big of a turkey will fit in them ?

Have a great day !!

Joe, I don't see why you couldn't roast a turkey breast in the convection over. The one thing I'm learning the more I experiment is that the time and temperature doesn't change from a conventional oven.

Gale & I are thankful for a lot and especially for the great group of forum buddy's. Has anyone done some RV motoring to Thanksgiving celebration destinations?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!!

We used to take our RV every year on Thanksgiving when our kids were small travelling from Long Island to North Carolina to visit family. Now that they are grown and have children of their own, we stay home and either have them come to our house with their families or go to one of their homes.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am very thankful for all the friends I have made on this forum. Just a great bunch of people.
Joe I can't imagine roasting a turkey in the convection oven. If you are thinking about a future trip and roasting a turkey I would look at a electric roasting pan. Maybe even a smoker. A turkey fryer would work as well. We do pretty well getting all the regular cooking done but have never tried a thanksgiving dinner.
Today we are heading north to Sarasota to enjoy dinner with our friends and neighbors we met at Cypress Trail.
Enjoy your day and go Lions!

I've roasted whole chickens, meat loafs and roast beef in that little oven. It works just fine. If it doesn't brown enough use the convection roast option. Don't be afraid to experiment,
Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!

Happy thanksgiving to all our Forum friends! We hope your day is filled with fun and fellowship with friends and family!

Joe, we travel with a tailgate-sized Traeger grill and use it to roast the Turkey and sausage dressing. Still, don't know why you couldn't use your convection microwave--after all it is a oven

Again, happy Thanksgiving all!

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone! We are thankful for this forum and the Berk family! Everyone has been so nice and inviting to us since day 1! Thank you!
We are parked in our RV in my mother-in-law's backyard in Crystal River, Florida. The weather is beautiful and the food is great (diet free zone till Monday!).
Happy and Safe travels to all of our new Berk family!
