Tv mod

Has anyone added a tv in the cabin to view while traveling since the other tv is covered by the slide.

If so where was it mounted and how was it wired?

Thanks

First of all most of us would need your model since you could have one of many models of berkshires. That being said. Depending on how long your trips are I would just run a simple cable then disconnect when you arrive. Another possible solution is getting a 13 inch tv maybe bigger and wall mount it somewhere. The problem is getting the coax cable to it(if used). Or just get a dvd/tv combo.

Just some ideas.

Jet -

We have NOT done this - but HAVE thought about it. The best idea we could come up with would be to mount the unit above the sofa on the passenger side. I thought this would be a big deal for us with 3 kids - but it actually has not been.

When the kids really get board they can watch a movie in the bunks or on the queen bed in the back.

We also toyed with the idea of removing the passenger side sofa and extending the counter top and cabinets in that area.

Good Luck!

We have the same model and thoughts. For now, I swapped in a bigger Toshiba TV in the bedroom with a built-in DVD and cable access, as well as a different bracket so it will swivel for DVD access and optimal viewing. this gives 3 viewing options, one with Sat access. It also avoids the distraction to me when driving.

We have a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old. I installed car seats for them and installed a flip down TV/DVD (like what is in the bunks) that is connected to the KVH in motion/Dish Network System - They have to wear wireless headphones from the bunks to hear their audo (BONUS )
