Visit to Elkhart Indiana Berkshire Factory
I would like to let everyone know that our visit to the Elkhart facility for the repairs, was executed professionally and expediently by the staff coordinated by Randy & Mitch . Their approach to customer service is second to none, I can only hope that one day they can pass this philosophy on to the dealers that sell and service their units.
Thanks to Randy & Mitch for their cooperation, they have reinforced our belief in the decision to purchase the Berkshire Motor Home. I look forward to future dealings with them.

I could not agree more. They know how to keep a customer happy and they are straight with with their answers. A Top Notch Team to deal with.
GOOD LUCK

That is great to hear. I have talked a bit to both Randy and Mitch, they are great. You are spot on with sharing that spirit with dealers. That is a dismal situation as far as most of us can tell.

As an expat Brit, I'm interested in how you folks pronounce "Berkshire". In the UK its a county close to London and it's pronounced "Barksher". Is it pronounced "Berkshyre" here, or something in between the two?

Andy & Roger and team are the GREATEST service techs I've met. They were here fixing problems and they were so AWESOME at what they do. They saw us pull in & came right over. 4 golf carts pulled up & got right to work. THAT's SERVICE!

The factory could not do my service due to the rally so they referred me to a close dealer in Elkhart, I have a list of 33 problems on my 2015 Berkshire XL that I took delivery on May 31, 2015. The inverter has already been replaced due to a major malfunction.I am driving the coach over from central Pa. Hope I have good resul;ts and do not have to do this again

I enjoyed both the factory tour and the service from Randy.
I don't know why anyone knowing these folks, would buy anything other than a FR product.

You guys are very right about Randy and his team. Mike Bukowski is one that I have great praise for. It's just so unfortunate that the production line puts out a sloppy product. That's why they have to have people like Randy and team to clean up after...very disappointing.

This is an interesting question (kinda funny in this thread, though) that you have asked. When referring to the parent company (Berkshire Hathaway), I've always heard it pronounced the "limey" way..... But when referring to the coach itself, then the "yank" way.
Boowho??
