Glad you found a solution. Like many computer problems, cycling the power (not just turning it off/on with the "hold power button down" trick, but actually cutting power) is a great place to start. (Note: earlier versions of that same fridge DO NOT CYCLE OFF with the "hold power button for 10 seconds" method. The manufacturer added that 'feature' to fridge and updated the user manual). Some folks have added an easily accessible power switch in-line to help with this, and other, issues.
Not sure if this helps, but the 12 volt 11 cu. ft. Magic Chef fridge is manufactured by Way Interglobal, and white labeled by several brands (including Magic Chef). (not to be confused with the universally hated Furrion 12v fridge, which is of a different design/manufacturing and suffers different - and somewhat more significant - issues). The flashing light is indicating a specific trouble code, but I haven't yet found a diagnostics manual to share with the board.
Thanks for circling back and letting us know the cycling worked. Always satisfying to hear a solution (even tentative), and good to add to the knowledge base.
Just my .02. YMMV.
