12v Everchill always ices up

Not that it helps but it is odd that the interior of these are not frosted up closed either. Just the perimeter. May just need a bit more time.

Looks like frost except for ice in the top right. That could be explained as it is actually insulated from the extreme cold and gets above freezing during shut downs then refreezes.

It would still be interesting to know if all the circuits were checked at the board while having access to it.

Do some research before buying new. Some of the GE refrigerators do not have a defrost cycle. Even says in the owners manual how to manually defrost.

Just out of interest, how much was the new control board and sensor?

I still haven't got my unit pulled out and I'm wondering if I might just jump straight to a replacement refrigerator instead of going down the replacement parts route.

A few years ago I bought a residential refrigerator and installed it in a B Class and never had a single issue with it. I'll possibly do the same this time because residential 110v seem to be much more favorably priced than RV 12v units.
