12v Furrion Fridge keeps blowing fuses at converter

I know, I know, we have a useless fridge in our travel trailer.

We have a 12v only Furrion 10cu ft fridge in our trailer that was actually working ok until yesterday. Now, everytime we connect it to shore power the fuse at the converter pops. Does anyone have any ideas?

When they first came out, there was a problem that caused a fuse in the fridge to blow and it is in the back, necessitating removal to get to it. A work around was devised to make the fuse reachable from the front grill and later, supposedly, whatever was causing the problem in the first place, has been fixed.

Hope yours has the one in the front.

Thanks. No - ours in the back and we have a kitchen island in the way of pulling the fridge out easily.

Would this fuse in the back of the fridge cause the fuse at the converter to blow?

When we take shore power out of the equation, the fridge tries to start up. The compressor tries and fails to start (we've had that issue before when trying to run off battery power - my husband tightened all the wires and it seemed to fix the problem) now it is back and it tries and fails to start on battery and as soon as we plug it into shore power the fuse at the converter pops. So it doesn't work at all.

Sorry, we just got ours and no problems yet. I only know what I told you from youtubes about it.
