12v power to storage area behind sharp TV. 2020 5vr signature

Good day All,
I am looking for a way to access the 12v power source to my IRV Technologies sound system. I don't see any access points. It's pretty well closed in.
I want to jump off the power to put a 12v charger for phones, speakers behind the TV. There is constant 12V power to the sound system. There is a ton of storage behind the TV.
Also looking for ways that people have utilized that area.
Thanks.

You need to pull the unit to get at the wires.

The problem is, it doesn't just pull out. It's mounted and can't get the the mounts. Finding access is the problem. Any suggestions?

Remove (pull off) those two side trim pieces. The radio is face mounted with screws behind those trim pieces [emoji106]

OK, I will bite, did that work?

If not do an internet search for the Make Model Installation Manual.

Download it, read it and it will tell you how it is mounted.

I haven't got around to it yet. I'm still moving stuff from one trailer to another. That is a project I need to focus on. I hate having charging cords all over the place. Putting them them behind the TV will help with that. There is quite a bit of storage behind the tv and I need to figure out how to best utilize that space. I keep looking at it and telling myself. I NEED to get to that. Got some bad health news yesterday and my heads not in a good place right now. THANKS for the heads up, I'll keep ya posted.
