2-way refrigerator interior light

I asked this question a couple of years ago when I got my trailer but nobody had an answer. The LED interior lights were too new, I guess. Time has passed so maybe someone else has experience to share.

Does anyone know how to remove the cover on the LED interior light on newer 2-way refrigerators? Can it be removed at all? It may just pop off but I pulled as hard as I'm willing to without knowing more. I don't want to break it.

I want to get access to the power source to cut off the heat strip between the refrigerator and freezer. That was easy with the old incandescent lights. That's not true with the new ones. The wiring diagram didn't change - only the fixture.
