2010 Georgetown cabinet speaker replacement

I have a 300FW 2010 Forest River Georgetown. My speaker over the left of the driver needs replacing. Has anyone removed the speaker from the cabinet yet and how is it done without damaging the cabinet?

Mr. Dan,
How do I add my RV picture to my profile. Not user friendly.

Bob, I was thinking as your ride is very similar to ours , maybe you can help. I need to change the speakers in the front drivers area cabinets but cannot figure out how to get them out without damaging the cabinets? Any suggestions?

Sorry, not related to Tom. Yes, your rig seems to be almost our twin. To change out one of the overhead speakers, I would first inspect the cover screen very carefully to see if there are tiny screws in each corner to allow them to be removed. Otherwise with a sharp object (jeweler's screwdriver), pry at the long side to see if the cover can be extracted from grooves on each side. If either of those work, the speaker can be taken out easily. Then it will be time to hunt for a proper replacement. Note: Ken&Terry also have or had a model like ours and may have an idea. We "Colonists" might not have the same sources as ya'all. Our rig is sealed for winter so can't get in at this time.

Thank you Bob. I will try this in the spring. Ours is also "wrapped" for the winter. We sent out the captain seats and sofa for a complete makeover prior to the winterizing. Plan on removing all carpets and adding new flooring in April. Complete bathroom redo also. Making it "Ours".

I removed the underwhelming factory speakers covered in black fabric, and replaced them with “boom box” speakers from a yard sale. Thanks for the referral Hank.
And the sound? Awwwwwwwwwesome.
