2017 Salem T21RBS radio issue.

Help. The Magnadyne Linear Mod.RV4500 stereo/cd player in our 2017 Salem T21RBS trailer has a display light issue. Even when the power to the radio is turned off the backlit display remains on. This happens regardless of weather we are on a shoreline or on battery power. When we purchased the trailer used in January of this year this was not an issue. I'm afraid that it will help run down our battery since it's on 24/7. Have even tried to turn it off using the remote with no success. Any suggestions to resolve the problem short of taking the radio out and disconnecting it? Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Sort of depends on how often you are using the rig, if every week I doubt it would make a difference if only occasionally then it may help to run the batteries down. You might try pulling one fuse at a time until you find the circuit its connected to and use that to kill the power to it. Have you opened your battery disconnect and checked if that kills the power to the radio? JMHO
