2017 Silverback Fireplace Lights Not Working

My LED strip lights in my Greystone electric fireplace, Model # PD2616F, stopped working. I've looked on Amazon, multiple online fireplace parts stores, and have called Forrest River to try to find a replacement strip light, but no luck. Has anyone else had this issue, or does anyone know where I can get some new lights?

Have you investigated any possibility of connecting with Greystone, the company that actually made your fireplace?

Our 2017 Wildwood had that issue when it was newer. We called the manufacturer, number in the paperwork and got them to send me a new light strip. (It was a strip of lights for the flame).

Must admit I did not think a strip of LEDs would work but it did.

I just found out today, from Forrest River, that it was a Greystone fireplace. The owners manual was probably printed in China and had no specific company name attached to it. It was as generic of a manual as you could get.
Does anyone have a phone number for Greystone? If not I'll just call FR and see what they have for Greystone.
Thanks for the replies!

Yeah, I saw that, too. I even called them and they confirmed they have no strip lights for the fireplace.

On an etrailer page it said Lippert bought Greystone.

Good Luck !!! I will post if I find any thing else. Our trailer is 5 hours away but I do not think our fireplace was a Greystone.

Can you describe the LED strip? Voltage? Number of lights? Wattage? Color? Maybe we can find a generic strip that can be made to work... Even a part number might be helpful.

Never mind--I got the specs from the etrailer video.
15" long
1" wide
Gap between emitters around 2"
12 volts

Here is what you can do:
  1. Get two of these.
  2. One blue, One yellow
  3. 12 Volt
  4. 0.5 meter (20 inches, but cuttable at 1" intervals.) Cut to 14 or 15" as needed.
  5. Cut a plastic strip to match the shape of the old one.
  6. Place the new ones side-by side on the plastic strip. and use the double-faced adhesive tape to attach them.
