2019 Hyperlite 29HFS Dometic Brisk Air II A/C

I'm looking at the set-up on the duct work to address better flow. In the bedroom there are 2 ceiling vents, (I'll call Driver's Side and Passenger Side). The duct on both sides extends past the ceiling vents (to the front of the trailer) and are not blocked and empty into dead space. I do not believe the two ducts were ever connected (to form a "U" shape). My idea is to just block off the ducts at the ceiling vents with some 2" thick soft foam I have laying around.

Or is meant to be this way and I should not mess with it? I think I should block it off.

Can't figure out how to make the photos right side up so the sealing tape is where the ceiling vents go so you'll have to tilt your head (LOL). The driver side duct is open to the right, passenger side to the left.

Thanks! Al

Block off the duct past the farthest vent from the AC unit. Jay

Thanks for replying. That's what I did. Also installed the RV Airflow, what a mess that was cleaning up the factory lack of pride in worksmanship.
